OUGD601 - Context of Practice - Practical element research - Concept Art

For the practical element of my Research Question I am wanting to realise the most perfect response to the question. The answer, in my opinion, is to either redesign or design from scratch a ride and/or attraction that encompasses the solutions to the problems with EPCOT as outlined in the essay.

On my PPP blog, I have shown that I have been looking for resolutions how to display my design ideas in a range of different ways: 3D printing, animations etc. Well I have also been looking into digital concept art;

I think it's important to study landscapes when designing for environments and spaces to learn how you can show how your designs will fit into that environment. I intend to study lighting and colour, without creeping into illustration too much.

These have great use of colour, which is important in environmental design.

I want my ride to feature elements of nature and the outdoors inside, and so my designs should reflect that environment. 

Treating illustrations as if they were plans for signage is a great way to showcase ideas.

I really like the use of lighting in this piece.
